FunkyTownFridge

FunkyTownFridge is an inspiring and revolutionary community initiative that seeks to end food apartheid in Fort Worth, Texas. Founded by local community advocate and activist Kendra Richardson, FunkyTownFridge operates five community fridges in Poly, Stop 6, NorthSide, Westside, and Southside neighborhoods.

In addition to providing access to healthy and nutritious food around the clock, FunkyTownFridge is dedicated to promoting local community action, offering political education, and fostering creativity and environmental activism. By addressing systemic issues and creating a supportive and inclusive environment, FunkyTownFridge is committed to helping to create a more equitable and sustainable future for all.
